The spotting scope was a Christmas present from my wife which was a plesant surprise. I plan to use the scope for wildlife viewing. I found the ProStaff to have outstanding optics and was impressed with the the lens covers and padded case included with the scope. It is lightweight and easy to use although a tripod is necessary for power above 48x. I believe anone purchasing this scope will not be disappointed.
